Creature Corner Mar. 13, 2007
The following animals are for adoption through ARF, the
Animal Rescue Friends of Idyllwild. Taylor
is a very sweet, loving and beautiful 1-year-old black lab/something mix. He
weighs about 65 lbs, loves to play with other dogs, and would appreciate a home
with older children too. Taylor
is a fine housedog, and he needs a secure fenced yard and lots of loving
attention. Darling Buster was rescued from the street by a kind
Idyllwild resident. He is probably a yellow lab/Boxer mix and he loves all
people. He is gentle, happy and a very nice companion dog. Cookie, too,
needs a loving home. This well-behaved, sweet natured Golden Retriever/Cocker
Spaniel mix female lived all of her 11 years with the same family, and now
needs a place to spend her last years. She is healthy, very well trained and
fits into any situation. Angel, a brindle colored, black lab/Boxer mix
is available too. Happy, loving and well behaved, she
is a true hero too. Prince is an adorable 4-month-old German Shepherd puppy. He needs a home where he can exercise and
have lots of attention. Primo is a charming 7-month-old puppy who is all white with a black spot or two, including one
over his eye. He is gentle and very
friendly. Wonderful, intelligent Dally,
a purebred Australian Cattle Dog, is available too. She is a well-trained,
loyal housedog who is 9 years old. Little is the name given to a
tan-colored Chihuahua
male who came into ARF’s care recently. He is very cute and ready for an adult
home. Sheila is a very sweet, quiet and loving English Spaniel mix who
was rescued from dreadful circumstances recently. In a foster home with an ARF
volunteer, she is ready for a home. She loves riding in the car and is
excellent in the house even when left alone. Parker is a red colored
wire-haired Daschund rescued recently. He is seriously cute and a very good
boy. Sophia the cat is a gorgeous Himalayan mix who is very friendly.
She will be ready for adoption soon. Penny, too, needs a place. She is a
lovely red purebred Australian Shepherd who is well trained and very loyal. She
is an alpha personality and probably would be happier as the only pet. Buddy
is a wonderful 7-year-old Collie/Shepherd mix who is an excellent housedog and
a good friend to his person. He has some issues with some other dogs and
definitely prefers a home without cats. ARF cats, Soleil, Gracie
and Tony are available still.
Adopted this week, or entering their 1 week trial period,
are Chihuahua
brothers Hercules and Harley, Kaylee the puppy, Ben the black lab and Tosca the
Dalmatian. ARF volunteers also found homes for several other dogs this week
before the were even
advertised.
